The tray for the constructed wetland is of the linear high density polyethylene (LLDPE) type and has a surface area of 5 m2. It is made up of pipes and bulkhead seals. The function of the phytoremediation tray is to treat the water and refine the wastewater to allow it to be delivered either to TAB.3 or TAB.4. If appropriately sized, the system allows the recirculation of water, thus allowing a closed circuit.
